Ruby Gadelrab is a healthtech entrepreneur and executive with a strong background in successfully developing B2B and B2C commercial strategies. She served on the executive team at 23andMe as VP of commercial marketing and has an extensive track record in high impact marketing, branding, channel, and commercialization initiatives.
Ruby founded the Ruby Consulting Group in 2017 to help companies in the genetics, healthcare, and healthtech spaces commercialize their products. Since then, Ruby and her team have consulted for over 30 companies including Genome Medical, Color Genomics, and Drawbridge Health. Ruby is also the founder and CEO of MDisrupt, a consulting company which catalyzes the path to market for healthtech products. MDisrupt offers strategic health product consulting, access to on-demand health industry experts, and medical diligence assessments.
Paul Bohanna is an multi-award-winning creative director who has worked with a wide range of domestic and international corporate clients and in affiliation with some of Northern California’s leading design and advertising firms. For the past eight years Paul has created a wide range of projects and brand systems within healthtech, genetics, and the life sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication with an emphasis on corporate identity and branding.

Jen has been immersed in the genomics revolution for more than two decades. After spending 18 years at Affymetrix growing its service and support business, she co-founded and later sold HumanCode, a personal genomics company. Jen is passionate about putting healthcare choices in people’s hands, promoting a healthier society, and providing true personalization through genetics to consumers. Using her skills in business development, commercial strategy, and customer relationships, she collaborates with companies to create health products and experiences that impact, teach, and engage consumers.

A longtime health and medical journalist, Katherine joined healthtech more than a decade ago with a job developing content at Navigenics, one of the first direct-to-consumer genetics companies. It was fascinating and fun to use her core skills in writing, editing, content conceptualization and critical thinking to present something entirely new to the world. These days, she’s excited about working with innovative healthtech companies to shape and sharpen their branding, messaging, content strategy and communications. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
